Locking washer DIN 6799
Locking washers according to DIN 6799 are mounted on bolts, axles or shafts with groove or slot and help prevent axial detachment. These standardised parts are primarily used in the mechanical engineering field. The part geometry has been designed in such a way that three areas are located at the groove bottom. These shaft retainers can be mounted with or without an assembly tool. However, the use of the special assembly tool simplifies assembly. The parts can be dismounted again easily, for example using a screwdriver.
The retaining elements are available in different sizes for slot diameters 3.2 mm to 19 mm in spring steel and stainless steel.
